The Rococo cast iron radiator, with its distinctive standing and class, was one of the first decorative radiators produced. The elegant and unique scalloped 'eared' top detail and flared feet follows through on the rest of the cast iron radiator with carefully interwoven embellishment.

Beautifully crafted in the expressively-ornamental and theatrical style of the Rococo period, the Rococo 3 Column Cast Iron Radiator from Trads is one of the finest decorative radiators you can buy.

No other decorative radiator comes close to the Rococo 3 Column thanks to its unique, gently-curved ‘volute’ top detail, its exuberant flowered, acanthus-like decoration across the top and sides, and its bold and arresting proportions. 

Aside from its stunning visual presence, the Rococo 3 Column is eminently practical too, featuring powerful yet-efficient heating performance and the option of choosing from two heights; 460 mm and 780 mm.

What’s more, the Rococo 3 Column can be purchased in configurations from 3 sections, to up to 30 sections. This provides you with an incredible amount of flexibility; choose fewer sections if you are tight on space, or select more sections if you need to achieve a higher level of BTUs for your room.

A cast iron radiator with heritage

The Rococo or late-Baroque era resembles one of the most expressive periods of eighteenth century Europe, when architecture spanning from palaces and country estates, through to churches and cathedrals embraced this style in abundance. 

You’ll find the Rococo 3 Column Cast Iron Radiator holds true to this period, exactly replicating the design details that made the Rococo style so unique. 

Our team of time-served master craftsmen have designed the Rococo 3 Column from period designs, creating a radiator which is at once both exquisitely beautiful, and entirely practical. 

Whilst the design of the Rococo 3 Column may be classically-inspired, its design and manufacture is cutting edge. The Rococo 3 Column has been CAD designed, and is cast in a mould which is CNC machined for the greatest precision. The mould is pressed into a sandbox. When removed, the indentation left by the mould is filled with smelting pig iron.

What emerges following cooling is a radiator that conforms to tight tolerances, ready to be installed in even the most modern of home heating systems. 

This mould also imparts the unique and interesting characteristics that you should expect from cast iron.

With the Rococo period being marked by such extravagant detailing and decoration, it’s only natural that you’ll want to add a flare of colour to your Rococo 3 Column.
